DANVILLE, ILLINOIS – Located 30 minutes East of Champaign sits Kennekuk County Park. This gorgeous acreage is filled with ponds, scenic hiking trails and a 170 acre lake, Lake Mingo. This location breed’s opportunity to get in touch with nature over the four days of camping, which is coming up next month. Phases of the Moon Festival is sure to be a weekend to recharge after a long summer of raging. All of the music you will find here is 100% organic “feel good” music along with the other well thought out amenities this festival has to offer.
Feeling the need to heal and rejuvenate emotionally, spiritually, or physically? Then make your way to what Phases is calling “The Sanctuary.” They have taken the time to choose a group of talented healers, artists, teachers, and musicians specializing in massage, energy work, sound healing, yoga, qi-gong, and meditation. All weekend they will hold workshops and presentations outlining different ways to unwind and re-center. We know we will definitely be making many visits to The Sanctuary, as everyone can benefit from spending some time here. The Sanctuary is joining together and integrating their healing and transformative techniques with visionary art and sacred geometry making for the perfect environment to journey towards a quiet mind. Be on the look out for the Sound Immersion Experience happening in 30-minute sessions all day long. We are undoubtedly stoked to see the String Cheese Incident who always bring such a spectacle along with them. Their music suits any and all attendees with their array of styles and sounds. Not only have they added a second set, but they have also curated a special group of all stars and we cannot wait to learn more about this sure to be epic compilation and experience they are calling the ‘Lunar Landing Conspiracy.” This experience is on top of and not to be confused with SCI’s Thursday and Friday performances.
